Here are more social networking sites for you to explore and consider. When looking at a site, although they are free, don't join unless you feel you will benefit from being a part of that community. You don't want to end up on 20 different sites, trying to cover all bases, with 20 different passwords, and not remembering who you said what to on what site. It's just too stressful and confusing. Choose your commitments carefully.

Here are some more groups to consider:

Badoo, based in the U.K., claims 14 million registered users. Lots of photos and videos as people share their lives with others around the globe. (http://badoo.com/).

Zorpia.com is based on photo-sharing, journaling, shared likes in music and videos, and other socially based topics. (http://www.zorpia.com/)

Netlog. Choose from over 20 languages, and personalize your Netlog space, make friends, explore, and "Pimp" your profile. (for English: http://en.netlog.com/)

Facebook has about 124 million registered users. It's a "general" networking site, meaning that you join and you can use your spaces for anything you wish (according to their terms, of course). However, many people are using it for business connections. (www.facebook.com)

hi5. You can find friends, whether they be local or across the globe. Share interests, music, pictures, and videos. (http://hi5.com/)

Bahu is a huge student-oriented site. You can choose to keep up with people you went to school with, or you can also decide to meet new students from anywhere in the world. (http://www.bahu.com/)
