Friendster Bebo is a very popular site with lots of ways to meet people. Lots of Bebo users are into pop culture and entertainment. According to Wikipedia, they are preparing to go beyond earth, with Interstellar Messaging. (www.bebo.com)Yahoo!360 360 is a combination social networking, blogging, and photo sharing. As of this writing (9/6/08) it's still in BETA (the testing phase). (http://360.yahoo.com) Facebook. An enormous site that can be used for any type of networking, including social. (www.facebook.com) Habbo is aimed at teens worldwide. Although it is initially free to join, the teens tend to spend money on "virtual clothing," and other "virtual" (meaning non-existent) commodities. I mention it because it's huge, and if your teen is on it, you might want to check it out further.
