Anything we do as individuals, from setting a peaceful tone on a potentially unruly post office line, to teaching young children how to negotiate instead of fight, to traveling the world as a translator for global peace negotiators, will totally contribute to world peace. There's nothing too small (or too large) to contribute to peace on our planet.

Jobs affecting world peace need not be limited to PhDs in Political Science and members of the DC elite. Here are some career ideas you can explore locally:
Translator. Communication - accurate communication - is if vital if people are ever going to get along.
Working in a law firm (as an attorney, a receptionist, or anything in between) that helps those in need; working in a law firm that supports green causes and / or animal rights.
Any job at a PBS radio or TV station is a job that contributes to peace
